Gluten Free, 1900 Park Fare, Grand Floridian
Some requested gluten free banana pancakes at a character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort in Florida. This restaurant also suprised me with gluten free baked muffins.
The muffins did it. They gave me the same experience that the rest of my non-gluten free party had for breakfast.
1900 Park Fare was the only Disney restaurant we visited that was 100% in the full gluten free experience.
The other Disney restaurants still fail in 100% complete experience where I am restricted to a prepackaged brownie, creme brule, fruit, blended fruit, or frozen blended fruit. It gets old real quick. These restaurants all knew in advance a minimum of 60 days my request of something other than the above. Anything baked with the same care as the rest of my gluten laden party had would have been a real treat. It doesn’t take a lot of care to open a prepackaged brownie does it. That is why the muffins were such a treat.
We did have some valiant efforts. There were some places got really close to the 100% experience, but these failed on simple employee communication.
